Dear esteemed colleagues,
As a long-standing member of the NYSVS I am honored to serve as the president of this coveted society. NYSVS had an immense influence on me as a fellow and also in my early career, I hope it will do the same for many future vascular surgeons.
NYSVS continues with its mission to foster medical students, residents and fellows as we prepare them for practice and hopefully retain them in our much-needed communities. We encourage young surgeons to get involved and make an impact on the future of vascular surgery.
We host two vascular meetings throughout the year. The meetings allowing trainees the opportunity to present challenging cases and interact with experts in the field in a fun and educational environment. We are committed to a strong academic culture that has prevailed in our past meetings.
We are thrilled to announce that attendance and membership in the NYSVS have vastly improved. Industry collaboration has allowed us to strengthen outreach and host bigger and better meetings.

Our Mission Statement
The New York Society of Vascular Surgeons (NYSVS) is dedicated to fostering professional growth and collaboration among vascular surgeons and trainees in the New York metropolitan and surrounding areas. Through biannual gatherings, we aim to advance the field of vascular surgery by presenting thematic case studies in the Spring and featuring distinguished guest speakers, alongside the research and travel experiences of our scholarship awardees in the Fall. Our mission is to promote excellence, innovation, and education in vascular surgery, thereby enhancing patient care and outcomes across our community.
Our Upcoming Meeting
The New York Society of Vascular Surgeons (NYSVS) invites you to join us for our FALL Meeting at Anassa Taverna Midtown, located at 200 E 60th St, New York, NY 10022. This event will take place on October 8th, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The meeting will feature thematic vascular surgery case presentations and provide an excellent opportunity for professional growth and networking among peers. Kindly note that an RSVP is mandatory to attend. We look forward to welcoming you to an enriching and engaging evening at The Anassa Taverna.
Membership
