Abstracts

Submission deadline: Midnight (EST) on Thursday, September 10, 2026

Abstract Components:

• Theme: Most Interesting Case, Or Complications
• Abstract body may have up to a maximum of 350 words (50 word minimum). One table or graphic may be used in your abstract. For case presentations, a maximum of 2 images and/or figures may be used within your abstract. You must cite any tables or figures within your abstract text. You may submit for both categories, however if you are chosen to present, you will only be able to do so for the category chosen.
• Objective(s): a brief statement of the purpose of the study and the current state of research in the field.
• Methods: the methods of study or experimental approach clearly (but briefly) defined.
• Results: a summary of the results of the study, including sufficient details to support those conclusions (can be presented in a brief table).
• Conclusions: a statement concerning the significance of the work and its possible implications for future research.
• Prize: One winner from each category will receive a $500 gift card!

Authors will be notified of acceptance within a week of deadline.

Presentations will take place at our Fall 2026 meeting.

Authors will have 5 minutes to present, with 3 minutes of discussion.
